Road Signs

I met gallery owner Drew Deane during my summer visit to Brevard, NC and fell in love with her work. She paints old road signs, hoping to capture a little Americana before it disappears. So while I was in upstate NY over the last two weeks, I took some pictures to send her hoping she can use them. It's amazing how pictures can improve just by lighting alone. My SLR safely tucked at home would have helped, but usually we were on the go and I'd yell to stop the car so I could get out and click away. It was a fun project for my two weeks away from the studio.
