Kelly Tankersley, Carolyn Kimball, and I had great results today. We were printmaking fiends for 2 hours--after that I bailed, but for all I know Kelly and Carolyn are still at it. We used Akua Kolor inks. They colors are quite vibrant and they seem to work really well with the gelatin. We used nice and smooth pre-cut cards. After we printed on the card we'd put it in a general drying spot for someone else to add to if they wanted. It was very collaborative and loose. It was fun to play. We did miss buddy Jill Alo, the 4th to our group.
We'll be selling the cards during Austin's EAST, Nov 13-14, 20-21, and WHAM in Houston, Nov 20-21.
See this post for gelatin how-to links.
