February Ladies Sweater

I knitted this last year and I wore it yesterday. Yea semi-sweater weather! It's a take off of the February Baby Sweater from Elizabeth Zimmerman's The Knitter's Almanac. Here's a link to the big sweater pattern--FREE!! (I'm sitting a little weird because I'm leaning on a pile of clean laundry--sadly, it's become the #1 purpose of this couch lately.)

I need to figure out my next knitting project. (Or maybe I should just finish these babies that I seem to recall working on this time last year?) The socks are even almost finished. The heel is turned anyway, and that's the more nerve-wracking part. Lately when I think of cold weather I think of snuggling up in a blankie, not being industrious with the needles. I need another PBS Jane Austen series! That would get me going super quick.

Ohh!! Look what I just found:

Set in an Edwardian country house in 1912, Downton Abbey, which portrays the lives of the Crawley family and the servants who work for them has just recently premiered on ITV in the UK to both strong audience numbers and critical acclaim and has been confirmed for U.S. broadcast beginning January 9, 2011 on PBS.

At least something to tie me over until Lark Rise to Candleford starts airing new episodes.
