Wax on, Wax off

I took some wax off last night and I saved the clean shavings. I'll use the scraped wax on one area that seems to be a little thin now. These shavings will melt quickly, saving me two hours of heating my block of encaustic medium in the crock pot.
This was my tool choice for the work, aptly named The Scaper. It's a printmaking tool but it has super sharp edges and perfect for scraping wax. I also used a straight razor blade. Progress is being made and I hope to finish up the remaining collage items, fusing, and oil stick work later today.

Oil stick on the crown area, which I'll wipe off with a paper towel which will leave the bits that stay in the incised lines.

Work as it stands right now.
