Every year we celebrate Abraham Lincoln's Birthday. I've been trying to spread the word about it for years, wanting it to be more than just clumped in with President's Day. So this year we invited another family to join us in our festivities and they graciously accepted, not really knowing what the heck one does at such an event. We had some good food, wine, Legos (they do start with L), party hats, and streamers. My friend Dolly gave me a great idea: instead of sending out Christmas cards, which I fail miserably to do every year, send out Lincoln bday cards. Me likey!
