Gelatin prints are great for cards. Carolyn Kimball came over Friday morning and we whipped some out.
I made a new batch of gelatin that morning, and within 2 hours we pulled our first print.
Recipe
4 boxes of gelatin, 16 packets total
dissolve with 3 cups of cold water
add 3 cups boiling water, stir
I poured the liquid gelatin into a beat up jello roll pan, made it as level as possible, skimmed off any bubbles, and let it set for one hour before putting in fridge. After an hour in the fridge, I used a butter knife and gently went around the perimeter of the pan then gently lifted out the slab. Then it was ready for rolling up with ink and printing!
Here's another batch.
