Week of Art, Day 1

I had a great weekend in Houston with 2 girlfriends. It was wonderful to get out of town and have a loose agenda other than our modus operandi--see art. We crossed many galleries off our list of things to do, plus we had some nice meals, listened to some jazz, and slept in comfy beds with lots of pillows. Tomorrow I plan on whipping up some jello for making gelatin prints later in the week, plus I'd like to work on this collage. Last week I used a charcoal pencil to mark some areas on my gessoed paper, then I added some modeling paste here and there for texture. Tomorrow I'll start to glue bits of this and that and add some paint. You'll see...
